These characters were born out of vintage kitchen items and surplus industrial parts, showing us that old, often discarded objects can be re-invigorated into works of art. The spice-bots have tins as torsos that are 50, 60, even 70 years old. Their heads, hands and bases are also vintage, with very little new material used. Some of them had lightsculpture bodies that lit up using LEDs. They are bolted and riveted together, with no use of glue or welding. These eco-conscious characters are one of a kind and most pictured here live in loving homes all over the US and Canada.
